After a statement win last week over Williamsville some thought Maroa-Forsyth might come out this Friday a little flat. Despite a 7 all tie early in 2nd quarter the Trojans would blow the game wide open with 42 consecutive points to beat Pleasant Plains, 49-7.
Junior running back Gavin Clifton had five touchdown runs for Maroa-Forsyth as the #1 team in Class 2A would dominate in the trenches to wear down the Cardinals. Maroa-Forysth goes to 5-0 with the win while Plains falls to 3-2.
